if you are All kinds of perverted hobbyists, psychopaths, fantasies, lewd masters, sadists or masochists, voyeurs, nervous breakdowns, depression sufferers, cult movie extremists, please don't miss any of them This movie...
if neither of the above fits you, and you can't wait to see this movie, then when I didn't say this nonsense, all the consequences of it are at the viewer's own risk .
The 90-minute film, with a three-part structure, depicts three entire generations of grandfather, father, and son. It shows the period of war, the peaceful age under the socialist lineup, and Hungary after the drastic changes in Eastern Europe. From the structure to the content, it is somewhat similar to Kusturica's amazing work "Underground". There is a considerable gap from the epic "Underground" in terms of the majestic atmosphere, and the level of madness and banter is not as good as "Underground". But it's even more incredible insanity and exaggeration in some details, mercilessly destroying your fragile sensory world with a picture that is almost perverted and disgusting. Starting from the fire-breathing drama, the male genitals pecked by the rooster and the slaughtered sow gave birth to a child with a pig's tail, who grew into an athlete in a food competition, and met a fat woman with the same big stomach. Athlete, the product of the combination of the two is an extremely thin man, but a perverted taxidermist master, and finally when the jaw-dropping living taxidermy is completed, the film comes to an abrupt end...
Many review articles for the film say that the three-paragraph structure essentially hints at a great political metaphor for Hungary in several places. For example, in the time of my grandfather, the people had no food and clothing, and their desires had become extravagant, and various masturbation methods had become the only pastime. Finally, the "pig era" has passed. Obese men meet obese women, and in front of fake socialist league members who hang party flags and sing political hymns, a group of fake songs and dances rise to the top. This kind of glitz is the same as that big fat man devouring competition. It is full of ironic effects of "running into communism" and "eating into a fat man in one bite". But just as the end result of overeating is to break the body and vomit it all, the third period of the thin son era is actually a sequelae of the "pig era" after the communist bubble was completely wiped out. The son finally completed the ultimate pursuit and attempt of life and eternity, and also made the audience's mouth in front of the camera collectively become "O".
Fortunately, the film also reveals a little bit of the shadow of the literary giant García Márquez. I don't know how much the Chinese translation of "One Hundred Years of Madness" was influenced by "One Hundred Years of Solitude".
