The reconciliation between liv & will is due to liv's tolerance for her husband's derailment and the stealing of a strange child. She chose to release the life; it is more due to Will taking a brave step first. Instead of concealing the scandal, he chose to treat himself, Redemption for that child.
There is no doubt about Amira's love for her son, and she once tried to coerce Will with photos in the world, but all this was no match for her love for her son. Eventually she compromised and pleaded frankly, but seemed powerless. A woman who hides great maternal love and female helplessness in her heart, so we cannot deny the shining point of her humanity.
