Some Alert Lines from Infamous

I watched the movie Infamous yesterday, really a plotted and breathtaking one. It was based on a novel of Truman Capote, a famous American reportage writer who had won Pulitzer. Toby Jones, who played Capote, delivered a marvelous acting in the movie, showing me a vivid, eccentric and charming character indulging himself in his career, writing and the exploration of human souls. There were many lines striking me in the movie, so beautiful, like poems or lyrics, awaking the slumbering thoughts deep in the bottom of my hearts and giving me thorough shivers. The following are some of the lines I adore and would like to quote here:

When you are tiny you have to be tough. This world isn't kind to little things.

We are in control until we are not, and we are helpless.

Being in jail is not punishment if you didn't like it on the outside. And neither is death if it was painful to live.

America is not a country where the small gesture goes noticed. We are not a country like France where charm, something light or effervescent can survive. We want everything you have and we want it as fast as you can turn it out.

Every time she sings, she dies a little. That's how much she gave. It's true for writers, too, who hope to create something lasting. They die a little getting it right.

PS: Gwyneth Paltrow's solo song at the beginning of the film is so beautiful, the song is JAZZ flavor, called what is this thing called love, highly recommended, Also watch this movie for this song.
