Following "Upside Down", the famous black American movie star Eddie Murphy and the famous director John Landis once again teamed up with this "romantic comedy moved to the contemporary 1930s", a lively and tortuous plot. Interspersed with funny scenes of gags, peculiar dialogue and improvisation add life to the film. The film’s approach is very rare: it not only puts black people at the core, but also plays an important role, and does not show black people as dirty and poor. Eddie Murphy, who has not been exposed to comedy subjects before, has shown unparalleled comedy genius and charisma, opening another door to his acting career.
