Well, it should be. It's no longer a movie for children. Or, let's put it in this way, it's no longer a movie only for children. The 5th HP has a philosophy indicating darkness of adulthood. That the world is never fair. That in class, we can always expect and accept failures but in real life, mistakes can be vital.
The special effects have been so magnificent. Sure they are. Especially when connecting the real world---LONDON and the underground magic world. The two spaces are interconnected. While watching the movie, it was like you are among the wizards and witches who lived in London and sneaked to underground magic world from time to time simply via red Phone Boxes. I've always loved their spell effects, this time, you can expect spectacular fire-works and cute little spirits summoned. What else? In this episode , some more creatures were welcomed in the magic forest including a Hermione' GIANT admirer.
That was an OK CG creature, yet look a little bit of dumb and silly to me. Hopefully, it's just me always find these CGs being stupid. It's just me. And, yes, it again looked a little awkward and weird when it comes to the Dumbaldore vs Lord of Dark. It's too much a Star-War type, i started doubt if the director's a huge fan of Star-war. While Dumbaldore holding the fire ball, it really didn't look so powerful, or wasn' t really convincing.
Yeah, again of course, Save some thing for the kids. Never forget to sell our "on the top of the list" Ideology: Friendship and Love. That's very well conveyed through the whole movie, beginning till ending.
About the crew, i know i should be proud of the Hong Kong girl-Cho Chang, who, successfully steals Harry's first kiss, yet I was so not impressed. She's dull. I sensed no sparkle between her and Harry. It was like, all the reason why she's there is because of the kiss. Harry was fine. He's grown so hot in his t-shirts. Nice out-fit and cool poses, good job Harry. Well, seriously, what more can you expect.
Do go to cinemas for this movie, this movie is Dark, Hilarious, Magic and Wet! And guess what? A really good reflection of reality. A must see this summer.
