Interesting, but vague

I don't really understand the ending of this film with a slightly offbeat style and a cloudy tone. What is it trying to express? The boy shouldn't exist, right? Robin Williams and Toni Collette's performances are wonderful, but still can't hide some of the film's There are some flaws, the suspense is available but it seems a little unconvincing, but it is still worth thinking about if you like non-idiot movies full of independent spirit and sincere emotion.

I really like the soundtrack of this movie, like running water, there are turbulence and uncertainty hidden in the calm.

The Night Listener quotes

  • Gabriel Noone: Charles Dickens wrote Pete Logand was only 12 when his parents sent him to make boot polish in a factory by the docks. This screwed him up forever and made him a writer. I think we've all got a blacking factory, some terrible something that makes us lose our baby heart as surely as we lose our baby teeth.

  • Pap Noone: Just say goodbye to the little prick

    Darlie Noone: What? Little prick?

Pap Noone: He can handle that.

Gabriel Noone: I can handle big ones, actually.
