The feel of the film is well grasped and doesn't give a so-called clear truth. What you feel is what you think it is.
Like Gabriel said why miss a seemingly What about people who don't exist? He wasn't sure about the boy's existence, but he was sure there was some kind of pain, Donna's pseudo-illness, what happened to the boy, which seemed very specific and unverifiable.
