"Robinson Crusoe" means the transformation of English literature from neoclassicalism to romanticism, (the pioneering novel of Heroic Soul), and the diary style is particularly realistic; it means that utopian literature has changed from an "already existing" setting. As a practical color of building utopia from scratch, it became an example of Rousseau's exposition of his "theory of the state of nature". As a servant, sees himself as a king, but overall his life is free and happy, and Friday is more of a companion than a property. The film adaptation realized that the racist and colonial colors in it were a black hole, so they tried to clean it up, and finally became a replica of Dancing with Wolves, but lost the most attractive part, about how people rely on "rationality" to build a reality Utopia of color, making tools, raising sheep and vegetables. At the beginning of the movie, the shipwreck supplies were received, and the home was built in a blink of an eye, and the only thing left was to make friends with black people.

Overall it's not bad, the scenery is really beautiful, and the set and costumes are also more attentive. Many people keep saying that there are too many changes, which is indeed quite different from the original, but the theme of the movie is not a survival movie of survival in the wilderness. The director used the theme to satirize the discrimination and oppression of black people by the colonists at that time. The friendship between the protagonist and Friday is exactly the director's beautiful imagination of the future society. I am not a slave, yes, you are my friend. That's the purpose of the film.
