I thought it was a horror movie at first, but when I went to the theater, I saw the poster that said "Hitchcock-style thriller love movie", and I thought to myself, there is no drama. Adding the word love, it is estimated that it is just a general movie. After watching it, I told my friends that I had expected everything, but the only thing I didn't expect was that ghosts actually appeared in the film.
Demi Moore, who is in his forties, is really getting old, but he still likes her very much, like when he first saw "GHOST". She expresses the freedom/discretion/nervousness of a female writer very well. It also shows the self-blame/remorse of a mother after losing her son.
The chalet by the sea, the lighthouse on the other side, the spiral staircase in the lighthouse, Celtic music, taverns, everything is very beautiful. Beautifully unrealistic.
Just why is betrayal again. This story has been played so much and so much, why choose this story? The husband is jealous of his wife's literary achievements, and his girlfriend is also jealous of her achievements. Jealousy can be maddening, so her husband colluded with her girlfriend. He wanted to put her to death and inherit her four million inheritance. Aren't there enough stories about husbands colluding with girlfriends to persecute their wives? All betrayal. Her girlfriend's second appearance, I already know how the story goes. I just didn't expect that ghosts would really appear. It was really her son, it was really the dead lighthouse keeper, who appeared/rescued her/punished the man and woman, and recreated the betrayal blood in the lighthouse seven years ago. This is also the only place that is slightly different from other similar stories. But this difference cannot be the highlight of the film.
Ghosts are not scary. The most terrifying thing is always the human heart.
PS A lot of orchestral music, the original intention is to deepen the terrifying atmosphere, but it makes people feel that "painting a tiger is not an anti-dog".
And why PS is translated into such a Chinese name is inexplicable.
