As much as I like Wilde, it's kind of weird to see this movie now!
I don't know why, but I really don't like this "heart too much".
Even if it looks, it looks very well made.
Because of knowing Wilde's life and watching the movie, everything was expected.
I think the so-called biographical films of the legendary life should not be written in such an ups and downs,
treating them as geniuses or monsters, with curious eyes, to praise and destroy them.
Instead, it should be treated as an ordinary person, full of emotions, daily trivia,
behind which is the genius of the soul, in the arrogant flash.
It's a good movie, just too good to have any surprises.
Too mediocre. And Wilde, if he would rather be pretentious than mediocre.
What's more, apart from his flamboyance and presumptuousness, like a clumsy giant in the garden,
he was originally pure.
