Before I saw it, I was scared, worried, and didn't dare to have too much expectations. Look at the Pirates of the Caribbean, after shooting 4, they have already thrown away the main storyline of the first 3 episodes! Look at that Spider-Man, it took 4 and changed both the protagonist and the blueprint of the story!
Many stories fall into stereotypes when they are filmed, lose their passion, and bury their creativity.
But ICE AGE 4 does not!
Although the theme of the story is old-fashioned, there have been countless similar movies in Hollywood: family and love. The plot of the story is old-fashioned. The good guys always go through hardships, and finally defeat the evil guys and end in a happy ending. The outline of the development of the whole story, the ending can be guessed from the beginning. But why do I still like it and not disappointed at all?
It's because of the creativity of the story details!
For example, the earth plate will move and so on. The protagonist encounters a difficult solution during the journey, in the form of a pirate. The creativity and unexpected shining points are everywhere, and people can't help but laugh.
As for the conflict between the teenager and the parent, although it is not uncommon, it is also an eternal topic, and it is not impossible to discuss it over and over again. The different attitudes of different people facing the same predicament are also worthy of our reflection.
There are two things that impressed me the most in the whole movie.
1. Ellie said to Peach "Dont let people change who you are". Maybe because we are not mature enough, we always lose our original self in love, always in order to cater to each other and turn ourselves into another person. In the end, we are often unable to keep others and lose ourselves. So, Dont change yourself! If someone loves you, he/she will take you as who you are!
2. Those two possums who often do 2B behaviors don't care about the future that everyone is worried about. This made me think, since some things are destined to happen, they are bound to happen, then, what can we change when we are worried and melancholy? Just like the answer given by the opossums, being stupid! Sometimes, life will be easier this way.
