Recently, I watched an American movie "Night Hunter" and I was deeply impressed. It's a standard commercial, with lots of gunfights and car chases, full of sex and violence. In fact, this movie is about sexual violence crime. As an otaku who has been unemployed for many years, I have a huge amount of text reading. After reading a lot of books about the United States, I have a good understanding of this society. Moreover, I have taken the judicial examination for several years (haven't taken it) and have a good understanding of the law. In fact, I am a diligent and motivated otaku, not decadent.
Gossip less, the book returns to the topic. At the beginning of the film, in the middle of the night, a disheveled girl flees for her life. She was overtaken by a man and jumped off the bridge in desperation to commit suicide. Coincidentally, a big truck passed better under the bridge. The next day, her body was found by police. At this time, the male protagonist came on stage. Skilled, he could see the bound traces on the corpse at a glance. Combined with the scene, immediately lock the bridge as the key investigation object. I feel that this excellent policeman is the only competent person in the whole film, so I call him the detective brother. His female colleague is full of nonsense and ineffective, no wonder he was easily killed by the bad guy at the end of the film. I feel that the general competence of American judicial personnel is low, and the details in the film have repeatedly confirmed my thoughts. The story continues. The old judge who resigned took the girls to put pigeons around to lure rapists into taking the bait. The lecher who fell into the fairy jump was castrated. The old judge has been using this violent lynching to deliver justice. As a result, the wild goose was caught in the eye of the wild goose all his life. The girl who acted as bait was kidnapped by the bad guys. The old man was so anxious that he would be killed in minutes. The police officer handling the case is incompetent, still walking slowly through the bureaucratic process. The heroine was still interrogating randomly there. I don't think highly of this policewoman who studies psychology, so I call her Sister Psychology. When the detective brother saw that the situation was critical, it was important to save people. Immediately overcome the resistance and dispatch the drone to search for signals. The old judge, grandfather and grandson walked the rivers and lakes and knew the dangers. People in all corners of the world have life-saving tricks. The old judge hid a wireless location device on the girl. At a critical moment, the drone locked the exact location where the girl was caught. The heroic detective led the crowd to destroy the demon's lair and rescued the captive girls.
At this point, the story seems to have ended successfully. Unfortunately not, the nightmare of the police has just begun. Due to space limitations, I will not elaborate on the subsequent plots.
Now, to comment on how the film reflects the decay and decline of America.
First: judicial corruption in the United States. There are too many problems with judicial corruption in the United States. In the film, the most fundamental thing is that the perverted twins who did evil were born from the mother's rape. Their mother, a female textile factory worker, was raped by the capitalist who opened the factory. Such vicious criminals should be severely punished. But in the great America, which was cooked in free mode, people took the money and settled it. It is said that more than 1 million US dollars were taken to settle in court, which is commonly known as "private" in the Chinese dynasty. Not only did he not go to jail, but he did not even leave a criminal record. More than 20 years later, Brother Detective and Sister Psychology have searched through all the cases, and there is no trace of it. This injustice under the capitalist legal system makes the American people extremely angry. Why do rich people get away with crimes? It's not money to blame. Spend a lot of money to hire a good lawyer to get out of the crime. What if the poor sinned? If you don't have the money to hire a good lawyer, just wait and lose the lawsuit. Everyone is equal before the law, the golden rule of the Western democratization system, completely loses its meaning in the face of wealth inequality. Class antagonisms are sharp and clear. A rich bourgeois grandfather ruining a poor and lowly proletarian female worker is like stepping on an ant. If the court at that time could severely punish this villain, the latter tragedies would not have happened. Those girls who have been scourged are really bloody mildew. Another aspect of American judiciary that has been criticized is the "Miranda Commandment". "You have the right to remain silent, but what you say will become evidence in court." Many friends who often watch Hollywood movies are quite familiar with this line. However, it is this law that brings enormous difficulties to criminal investigation. Many criminal suspects were arrested at the crime scene, just relying on it and refusing to explain, resulting in the inability to collect many key physical evidence, and many victims can never be found. The freaks in the film refused to explain from the beginning. They are U.S. citizens and have rights in accordance with the law. As for the rights of those who have been harmed by him, no one cares. The United States attaches great importance to human rights, and as a result, serious human rights violations have occurred. What a wonderful irony!
Second: the corruption of social life. In American society, money comes first. People know nothing but unbridled pleasure and indulgence. Sex crimes are everywhere. However, from the legislation to the judiciary to the law enforcement, no attention is paid at all. Toxic social ethos breeds perverted twins, it's so normal. The United States is sexually open, cultural products promote violence, and guns are rampant. It's a really exciting living environment. Money can save a person from sin, and it can buy a noble position. Take the film as an example, the rich man who committed the crime of rape, with a lot of money, even became a director of a college. He took his perverted son to live in a student dormitory. This time, the female students in the school have become the target of the beast father and son. There is no hope for such a society. Many people (actually, not many people, I estimate that no more than 10 people will read this article) will refute me righteously: the United States is a Christian country, where people believe in God, and they are all noble and pure. People put "we believe in God" on green dollar bills. Let me take the example of the raped mother of the freak brother in the film as an example to see the poisoning of religion on the minds of the people. According to Marxist political science, the ruling class uses ideological control to imprison the people. There was an FBI agent who wrote a book "Brainwashing" about the brainwashing of the lower class by the upper classes. In capitalist America, the ruling class has always preached Christian fraternity. Missionaries who serve the ruling class wantonly brainwash the people. The unfortunate woman in the film, she was brainwashed, commonly known as "being fooled" in China. She wants to forgive, she wants to tolerate. As the Bible says "love your enemy". There is a similar saying in Buddhism: let go of obsessions. But as a result, appeasement and raising rape will cause endless troubles. She also gave birth to two sons to the rapist. These two guys are more wicked than their beastly father! Harm the sky and harm the rationale, and do bad things absolutely. Since the society is so dark, are the people living in it not enlightened? Of course there is. The old judge in the film is one of them. His work allowed him to see through the rot and darkness of bourgeois legality. He resolutely embarked on the road of no return. Since the law is useless, do it yourself. He vented his anger at the government's ineffective crackdown on sex crimes by cutting off the testicles of rapists. In fact, many Americans are dissatisfied with the government's too tolerant attitude towards sex crimes.
Third: The U.S. economy sucks. This film gave me the feeling that America is no longer available. In the film, right at the beginning, the detective brother dispatched the drone using high technology. However, my country's drone technology is already very advanced, it's really nothing special. In the later investigation, the police have not had high-tech means. In other American TV series, those equipment that defies the sky, such as face recognition or something, are not available at all. There was a web group that turned out to be of little use. I really doubt watching fake American movies. However, the American guns in the film are really beautiful, reminding me that this is really America. At the end of the film, in the battle at the finale, the performance of the police is disgusting. too poor! The superintendent murderously issued a kill order to the freak brothers. However, the detective who led the team lacked strong support. Facing a perverted serial killer, he has only a few cops with pistols. There are no helicopters that are common in American films. SWAT without night vision goggles. There are no snipers. Not even a police dog. As a result, there was a scuffle in the woods, and the guns were taken away by others. Fortunately, the detective brother was witty and used a trick to bury the two brothers under the ice. Otherwise it will be destroyed. It can be said that the performance of the police in the film is not like a developed United States, but a developing country.
This is my understanding of the film. Of course, there is a lot more information implied in the film. Personal level is limited, knowledge is not wide. Please give pointers in the comment area. There are not many people watching this film, I don't think more than 10 people will watch my article.
