Abbas' hypnotic

I imagine that someone fell asleep while watching Abbas's movie. The situation is like this: after getting through the front, after returning home from school, the drowsiness hit, the little boy and his mother began to be in a trance, and they were on the journey of searching. I fell asleep peacefully in the long shot of the film, and woke up suddenly at the end. The wind was blowing violently in the film. The next day in class, there was some unexpected joy: Ha! This kid is so innocent and a little silly.

Abbas said: "I prefer movies that make the audience fall asleep in the theater. I think such movies are thoughtful enough to allow you to take a good nap and not bother you when you leave the theater. There have been movies that have made me fall asleep in theaters, but the same movie has kept me awake all night thinking about it until dawn, even for weeks. This is my favorite movie.

What an honest man, he does make quite a few sleepy films, whether it's Palme d'Or "Taste of Cherry" or one of the previous village trilogy, and likewise, these films make a crowd It's thought-provoking, and even I miss the terrifying, heartfelt long shot at the end of "The Lover Under the Olive Tree."

"Where Is My Friend's Home" tells a story so ordinary that I even thought of a wonderful and appropriate title to sum up such a movie, which is a common subject when elementary school students write essays: a small thing.

After school, a young boy from a village found that he had taken the workbook at the same table by mistake. In order to prevent his classmates from being punished, he went over the mountains to the neighboring village to find his friend's home and tried to return the workbook.

The little boy's search process is called "good things take a long time". In fact, not returning the homework book may not really make the poor classmate drop out of school, but he doesn't think so. The child's mind is so beautiful that he might not have done it without the teacher's words.

I'd love to say that's an obsession, but it's a bit heavy for a primary school student.

Later, an old carpenter took the initiative to accompany the little boy to find the home of his classmates. The old man walked slowly, but it was the little boy who was troubled. He kept talking about the door of this house I made, and the windows of that house I carved, which is torturing the audience.

At the back of the film, a nagging old man of unknown origin is given a stroke, who slowly takes off his shoes and goes upstairs to close the windows and then go to work. It is conceivable that the poor old man is alone, and there is a lack of people to talk to in his life. Similar details in the film are the classmates who shouted back pain. The warmth is hidden deep under the image, flowing slowly and not easy to detect. It is just ordinary bits and pieces.
