When you need a special movie viewing experience, it's really important to choose a good movie

I didn't finish it, I fell asleep after an hour.

According to the viewing experience, one star. According to the value of the film, four stars (almost).

Why did you go to sleep?

I recently completed a very important job. I woke up this morning and I was in a good mood. I wanted to find a horror movie. I’ve basically swept through all the famous horror movies. inside.

The problem is that I only collect many films, and I don't know much about them (for fear of spoilers even a little), and I like to enter the film with a preposition of "only knowing the genre but not the specific content".

This habit is sometimes good and sometimes bad.

In good times, you can be pleasantly surprised. Bad times, like today.

Half the experience of watching the movie + after reading some movie reviews, I think it is really misplaced and a pity to include "The Loop" as a horror movie.

However, I did start the film with a "horror movie" + I remember two comments saying that the film "can't recall" and "psychological shadow".

The result was of course disappointing. What I was looking forward to was "Damn it, come and scare me to death", "Are you going to make a face! Come out soon!", "Can't wait, why don't you die!!!"

But the movie is not.

In fact, I already understood before I saw half of it. This is not a regular horror movie ghost movie. The cold tones, the light of "I'm going blind", and the extremely irritating Japanese lines of Zhong Er , the engineer girl and a certain man (can't remember the name) show the alienation between people that also makes me extremely annoyed, and the loneliness that the factory sets off for people. All in place, all on point.

Too bad I can't wait to watch it.

It's the problem of my own failure to find the film. The film is a good film (at least in the first half, I think what the director wants to convey is conveyed), but when I want to watch a lighthearted romance film, if I open it and find it is " The Grudge, then maybe I'll fall asleep as well.

Continue to mark in the second half, goodbye by fate.

The best horror movie ever! Plastic film, shadow fragments, jumping from water tank, female ghost in slow motion, ghost calling for help, hugging screen. Emotional images, human alienation, "seeing" is contagion, the core of existentialism in the Internet age. Everyone is making secret rooms and turning into ghosts. Like experimental particles, human relationships are endless cycles: too close and they die, too far and they come closer. The apocalyptic feeling in the second half proves that the ghost world is overflowing and has no substance. Kurosawa Kiyoshi's horror atmosphere is too much for my taste, obsessed with abandoned buildings, the reflections in the game hall, and the several sets of window tapes are quite experimental, and I look back crazy. ps. What a hopeful ending song

This is the real "horror movie" in my mind, not a plasma movie, not a disgusting movie, nor a frightening movie. There is almost no visual horror image in the whole film, but the eerie long lens, the ghost's "jump cut", and the extremely excellent noise soundtrack all have a deep-rooted cold. Kurosawa uses the genre of horror films to explore the urban disease of modern people, and ghosts are the embodiment of this disease - indifferent to each other, but afraid of loneliness. The Internet, which was just emerging at that time, became an excellent carrier. Looking at it now, we are one step closer to the end of the world in movies.

Junko Sasano: It shouldn't take a week to work on that disk.

Michi Kudo: No, something's wrong. Maybe I should see if he's okay.

Junko Sasano: I just got the creeps.

    Michi Kudo: What?

Junko Sasano: I don't know, I just feel like something's wrong. Like something's horribly wrong.
