To be honest, I didn't really understand it when I watched it in Beiying. Maybe it was too experimental, but that part of the group sex scene shot in the Gobi with close-up, the cute plane painted as a condom, and the last 5 minutes from the movie. The slow-motion shots of explosions from different cameras left a deep impression on me, and the visual stimulation was quite strong. But think about it, it was only in the 1970s, and this old man's thinking was a bit avant-garde... oh, no, he should be considered an "angry youth" at that time.

It is not difficult to think of his contemporaneous work "Passenger" (Guitar Escape from Spain in the Desert), which shows that An Dao has turned from refined elegance to rough and cool aesthetic style after leaving Italy. The whole film seems to be free and rambling at will (with Godard's feeling), but the ending is explosive, absurd, and tragic. In addition, the 6-minute desert erotic drama is so beautiful that it can be recorded in the history of movies.
