There's been a lot of turmoil in the theater recently.
Old dramas have fallen, and new dramas have risen.
Unfortunately, it disappeared mysteriously after a few days.
Fortunately, it can still see-
Catch 22
The director is George Clooney. The lead shooter promises that this is definitely the best in the history of his directorial career.
Not long, six episodes.
The plot, pictures, and music are all written in seven big characters: "Condensed is the essence."
Catch-22—
English colloquialism, referring to those dark rules with deceptive nature that can only suffer from dumb losses.
This military rule does not actually exist and is a fiction from the American novelist Joseph Heller 's novel of the same name.
After the outbreak of World War II, Heller was drafted into the army and served as a bomber at a US Air Force base in the Mediterranean island of Corsica.
Like Convention Seren , the protagonist of his later Catch- 22 novel , Heller flew an unreasonably large number of missions over Italy and France.
As a war-themed novel published in 1961, it is not unusual for Catch 22 to celebrate heroism and oppose war.
However, Catch-22 jumps out of the war itself, writes sorrow with joy, and uses a black joke to hint at a bigger black joke.
It's so absurd that it shouldn't exist, but it's everywhere.
This is very subtle.
In the play, the style of this absurd comedy has been well inherited.
Catch 22 is no longer the famous paradox of "A madman can be exempted from flying, but he must apply for it himself ."
Instead, it permeates every place and every moment, and determines the joys and sorrows, fate, life and death of ordinary people.
The sense of absurdity is upgraded layer by layer.
At first, you will laugh.
In the end, I just felt terrified.
Come on, open the grill.
During World War II, the United States served in the military and chose arms for many reasons.
Our host, Covenant, a young American who believes in personal liberty and distrusts authority, chooses the Air Force for a sincere and pessimistic reason— he doesn't want to die.
The Air Force's pre-war training period is the longest of all arms.
Yossarian thought that when the training was over, the war might end as well.
He made up his mind to be a soldier who reasonably avoids danger and has the conditions to promote the American spirit while preserving his life.
With that in mind, Yossarian couldn't fit into the patriotic atmosphere of the barracks.
Especially when his training officer is still an idiot .
Yossarian's training officer, a stupid bureaucrat who only considers his resume to look good, not the soldier's physical condition or even the possibility of a training program .
The first "22 military rules" was shouted out by him in a rage before a meaningless military parade:
"Is it all my fault? I don't punish people who tell me the truth."
When a person with a higher level than you says something like this in anger, a fool will take it seriously.
Where is he looking for a solution to the problem, he is just maintaining his authority and self-esteem.
Young men who have just joined the army still lack experience in social struggle.
There are really "silly" children with real eyes, who stand up and talk about things.
The officer's face turned purple with anger, and the stupid boy's fate could be imagined, not very comfortable.
Yossarian's mind was much clearer.
He saw clearly. The officer is a sadist.
Power is the drug X, it can make good people crazy, let alone in the hands of crazy people.
From a small training camp to a large war, this is the case.
You tell the facts to the bureaucrats, and they tell you their feelings.
You talk to bureaucrats about power, they talk to you about dedication.
Chicken and duck talk, others are hell.
Yossarian's training is over, and the war continues.
He was sent to Italy.
At this point, the Germans had already retreated, and the U.S. Air Force did not need to face the artillery fire of the Luftwaffe, but the ground resistance was still strong.
Every time you go to heaven, it may be the last time in your life.
A comrade-in-arms who has just chatted and quarreled on the ground may turn into a piece of flesh and blood in front of you in the next second.
In a foreign country, facing such hell every day, it is strange that the psychology can be normal.
The highlight of "Catch 22" is here.
Military regulations stipulate that you can be discharged after flying 25 times.
But it also stipulates that you must absolutely obey orders, or you will not be able to return home.
Unfortunately, but inevitably, Yossarian once again had a foolish superior.
These bureaucrats who hide in military camps and do not need to face life-threatening dangers have more power and more brains.
He criticized the soldiers for not dropping bombs, not even knowing that the aerial photos in their hands were from the Vatican.
The soldier died, the officer said, I must encourage the rest to let everyone know that their sacrifice will not be in vain, so let me treat everyone to ice cream tonight.
Faced with a near-death battle, Yossarian was cornered and slipped into the war room in the middle of the night to move the bombing line.
When the officer saw it, he thought that the friendly army had wiped out the enemy, and he single-handedly went to expropriate the local buildings.
Expropriate buildings? It is not one for military exploits and the other for enjoyment.
As a result, when I pushed the door, I saw a room of Nazi officers and soldiers.
The biggest idiot in the whole show just disappeared.
Soldiers keep dying.
For the sake of record, regardless of the mental state of the soldiers, the officers increased the number of flights unprincipled from 25 to 55.
Friends, have died.
The new comrade-in-arms who only came to meet once, died.
Yossarian is crazy, he's doing everything he can to get home—
Sick leave was denied.
Among them is the famous one, "A madman can be exempted from flying, but he must apply for it himself."
He also did the crazy thing of moving the bombing line privately, and took the life of the big leader, but it only delayed for a few days.
Doing tasks like crazy, trying to outperform the head-beating decision makers to increase the speed of tasks, also tried.
The subtlety of the word "procedures" is that as long as your documents are in the "hands" of the decision, what kind of "follow-up" is out of control.
Yossarian submitted the formalities for 50 missions, and his superiors announced that the number of missions had increased to 55 before they were stamped.
Gradually, Yossarian's heart turned ashes.
The entire US Air Force battalion has also become a lunatic asylum .
Some were awarded the rank of major because they were called "major", and some were promoted to captain because of a mistake.
Some people simply gave up the mission, bribed their superiors to fly military planes to trade across the European continent, established a huge trade empire, and even added Germany as a shareholder friend.
Some people were flying a plane and playing with their comrades, and while playing, they crashed their comrades into a pile of mush, and they also crashed into the mountains to die.
Those who are alive must continue to face those absurd, meaningless and impersonal constraints.
After all, who should be responsible for those unexpected deaths?
It was the lunatic who killed them.
But who is indulging in madness?
The one who turns a blind eye, the one who sings praises.
