ghost submarine

"Ghost Submarine" is a "Haunted House" that takes place in a submarine. Stories like "Haunted House" have been remade several times in Hollywood. In recent years, I have also been impressed by "The Haunging" and "13 Ghosts". The commonality of the story is that in the closed space, the looming ghosts use various cruel methods to kill the people in the space one by one.

What makes "Ghost Submarine" a little bit special is that the story takes place in a submarine during World War II. The submarine was driven to the surface, unable to surface. Everyone becomes irritable and irritable due to lack of oxygen, but the small space makes these people have to be in close contact, so all kinds of conflicts continue.

This could have been a good subject. If the director can pay more attention to the violence, desires, fears in people's hearts, and how people gradually get out of control under the oppression of these emotions.

But obviously, the director did not intend to do so. He just wanted to get some ghosts and ghosts out, and in two hours, give the audience a little excitement. So, instead of the great The Shining, this movie is just the mediocre The Below.

What's great about this movie is that the shots are applied smoothly in the cramped submarine, and the space is made clear.

IMDB score of 6.3 (3703 votes), I give it a 5.

The subject matter is actually very good, and the atmosphere and environment in the submarine are very suitable for shooting horror movies. But the director's skill and the screenwriter are not good. The film is not good enough. It could have been a very good horror film, but the effect of the film is not good.

This score is low. But the leak was too early, and the story was a little delayed.
