i'm just adding up some more points here, which could extend to side discussion.
1. the use of Epiphany -- it's interesting that the director made use of literary technique here in the film. Epiphany is "A revelatory manifestation of a divine being."[from answer.com]. As of which in the movie, there several "epiphany" take place for instance, Fillipo's mother appears on TV NEWS can be an epiphany for Michele(as to realize bits of truth).
2. Michele's characterization -- one thing that i don't like this character is that Michele has been constructed as a too good child, too much like a hero. However it is what popular culture supposed to create..
3. Film adaptation and the novel -- those who have both watched the film and read the novel could make some comparisons in terms of text decoding. For me i prefer the film although Nicco Amanniti(the author) is also the scriptwriter.
