Fellini's third film. As a representative of Italian neorealism, Fellini's films, especially the early ones, are all bland in rhythm and simple in plot. What has not changed is the description of reality. Fellini and his contemporary Antonioni can be said to be two contrasting artists, both very similar and very different. Fellini likes to dream, always saying that dreams are the only reality, and "The Swinger" is a typical dream. In a dream, someone can forgive you, and in a dream you can do whatever you want. The story of the film is very similar to a dream, but it is more like reality. To be precise, except for the ending part, the previous story is very similar to reality, which is reality.
