The disappearance of bees and human self-destruction

This film originated from a series of real events recently: a large number of bees are missing in the United States and Europe, and similar phenomena are said to have appeared in Japan and other regions. This seemingly absurd event actually happened on our planet. Some scientists predict that the disappearance of bees will lead to a reduction in the production of many crops, which in turn will cause food shortages for humans in the long term. Some scientists have analyzed and identified that this was caused by an accident in the development of genetic biological weapons in Western countries.

In the film's narrative full of awe of nature, the creator attributed these events to a neurotoxin spread through plants, and its irregular transmission method is somewhat similar to the "red tide" in the water system. This theory seems far-fetched, but the cruel setting in the story that the toxin can cause humans to lose control of their minds and commit suicide sharply satirizes the self-destructive consequences of humans’ perverse actions on the natural ecological environment.

Although it is not a blockbuster film, the atmosphere is rendered in place and the sci-fi atmosphere is very strong. It can be called a model of low-cost disaster film.
