A fable, a fairy tale

A typical American western town in the "pioneer period", a group of bad guys and another group of bad guys, a handful of good people (of course, living under the lust of two big groups of bad guys).
A cowboy who seemed to have fallen from the sky tried his best to seduce the bad guys of Gang A and kill the bad guys of Gang B. Then he single-handedly eliminated Gang A (bad guys), and finally left the town with a sense of peace of mind and contentment.
Such a magical and beautiful story looks like a fable, more like a fairy tale.
Sergio Leone is not a vulgar director who is willing to use "violent scenes" to attract audiences into the cinema. He just likes to use "violent scenes" to express his extreme dislike for the ugliness of human nature and even the animal side.
Therefore, when I watched Ramon, the important leader of the "Brothers Gang" in the movie: using Gatlin machine guns to shoot the US Army's money transport team, the brothers "slaughtered" the "Mayor's Gang" two scenes, I really feel a twitch in my stomach.
When the actor draws a gun and goes out of battle (only 2 times in the film), he takes the gun, shoots, and the enemy falls and died. A few extremely simple actions and shots, without a trace of excess blood.
This is the difference between heroes and demons. Demons use violence because they admire violence. Heroes use violence just to stop violence.

Morricone's soundtrack is very good, and the young Dongmu has various shows.

The first western movie I watched, I watched all the western movies I could find, but there are still a lot of classics that I haven’t watched, especially the westerns from Sergio Lama, which are very cool. But he is so cool!

A Fistful of Dollars quotes

  • Silvanito: I'm alive, and I want to remain with the living, understand? And when I'm dead, I want to remain with the dead. And I would be unhappy if somebody living forces me to remain with the living.

  • Joe: [He's hiding in an empty coffin outside the coffin-maker's shop] Come here.

    Piripero: I can't see anybody.

    Joe: Come here!

Piripero: [Goes over to a coffin on a wagon; Joe is inside] Dios mio!... What are you doing in there?

Joe: Never mind. Get me out of here.

Piripero: But, you're not dead yet.

Joe: I will be, if you don't get me out of here, quick. Get that lid down!
