I think that a good story tells a plain story well. Gourmet films should be more than just a desire to salivate. In other words, is food prayer and love a food movie?
In my opinion, this movie can be regarded as a climax. The quarrel with food critics on Twitter in the middle is a climax, and the enthusiasm of the food truck behind is a climax. BTW, I really envy the American food reviews, I feel that I have a high status and make money and I can eat delicious food everywhere~
The small details of this movie are also good. I started to say that I didn't take my son to buy food, but I took it; say no I bought popcorn, and the two of them ate together in the end. This kind of father-son relationship is still very loving.
The 10-year-old son behaves well and is very likable. In addition, it can be regarded as a long advertisement for Twitter and Vine, haha.
There are many familiar faces in it, including Will and Grace, who is Will's true love Vince; there is Manny from a modern family. There are also Dustin Hoffman, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson. It is very happy to count celebrities.
One plot I like is that the protagonist’s friend gave up the assistant chef to help make the mobile food truck, which is really interesting. PS: Actually, I don't have a cold with Cuban food, but barbecue is very attractive when I was in Texas. Sorry, I’m under the control of Texas... There are a lot of Americans making food, and it feels greasy when you see it...
This movie also shows that road movies don’t have to have gangsters, crimes, or anything else. You can do everything on your journey. Make it into a movie. Although it's a bit idealistic, watching a movie is just like having fun. I just like the surreal plot setting and the reunion ending. I'm not convinced to bite me.
