Hollywood's recent films have disappointed me more and more. They played fancy stunts. It seemed that there were no big scenes, high-tech films, and unpopular. And this film is the real boutique many years ago. Pacino and Sean Penn are both acting masters, especially Pacino's performance in this film, absolutely top-notch. The real boss doesn't need any outfits and pomp, and the temperament between gestures is enough to tell you his identity. The fascinating plot and the vivid depiction of the characters are the true essence of the movie. There are no special effects in this movie, but it can completely immerse you in it. The handling of the opening and closing credits is definitely the handwriting of a master director.

This is probably the pinnacle of Jianghu gangster clichés. My favorite Hollywood movie opening after Raging Bull. Al Pacino gave another performance that I'm afraid De Niro can't replace (although I often think of them as Andy Lau and Tony Leung). There is also how to come up with such a beautiful translation of "Dawn of Love Owl", which is as beautiful as De Palma's mirror movement.

The long shots are brilliant, and the hunting scenes are particularly exciting.
