Because I have never been too cold about new movies or blockbusters, I followed my childhood memories and found out this antique-level X file. At the beginning, I just wanted to verify whether I grew so bold or not. I remember that when I heard X-File’s opening music when I was a child, I was terrified, not to mention watching it so seriously, and now I watch every episode with gusto. Although I still sometimes cover my eyes with my hand, I can get it exactly Out, my endurance is really enhanced a lot. Or maybe this is a kind of escape from the reality day after day, the subconscious pursuit of some kind of stimulus, whether it is visual or psychological. In any case, X-File attracts me too many factors.
In fact, I didn’t really like science fiction before, and I felt too divorced from reality. But now I think maybe it is this kind of detachment from reality that attracts so many sci-fi fans. X-File is sometimes very similar to Discovery. Many of its story lines are based on science and facts. This is one of the reasons why I like it. A series of fantasy events have been triggered from the natural phenomena we know. Unexpected supernatural phenomena appear in the plot. These can sometimes stimulate my dull brain and prompt me to think and imagine. At the same time, these also satisfy people's needs for understanding the unknown. Science fiction and science are sometimes just a step away. Many things that were once considered science fiction now exist in our lives. Therefore, human imagination is definitely the fundamental driving force for creating the future.
But what moved me was something of human nature in the end. The truth in X-File, all kinds of supernatural phenomena, aliens invaded the earth, kidnapping... It is indeed a little ridiculous to think about it, it is too far away from reality. But these incidents revealed certain aspects of human nature, including greed, selfishness, fear, tenderness, friendship, and trust. The protagonist, Mulder, as a solid believer in the truth, struggles and struggles with his partner Scully, trying to find an answer that can finally satisfy and tranquilize their hearts.
I like Mulder too much. He is paranoid and clever. He never cares about what others think of him. He just sticks to the truth he believes. At the same time, he is also very funny, like a child, he does not forget to be humorous when he is most critical. I remember that in one episode, a very magical maiden can make Mulder realize three wishes. The first wish he put forward was "world peace", which is really cute. I don't know if there is such a person in life that will attract me as well, but the premise is that he has an attractive appearance, ha ha. Of course, he is not perfect either. Sometimes, being overconfident and stubborn can make him fall into the pain he digs, or face great danger regardless of the consequences. At this time, his constant companion, Scully, can always save him from pain and distress in time. Scully is definitely an incarnation of reason. She doubts everything and only wants to believe in science and facts. However, the screenwriter of this film also gave Scully all the contradictions and conflicts of personality necessary for being a complete person. She advocates science, but believes in God. She is strong on the outside but often hides anxiety and fear in her heart. This also made her even facing Mulder, sometimes unable to show her true self.
What I have to mention is that this constant companion is still transferred back to the relationship. But the relationship between Mulder and Scully is a kind of lasting mutual trust and support. Their personalities are complementary in many ways. Scully is too serious, and Mulder's weirdness can relieve tension in a timely manner; Mulder believes in intuition too much, and Scully's rationality pulls him back to the ground in time. The same thing is that both people are very persistent, clinging to what they firmly believe, maybe because of this, the trust between them can last so long. At the beginning, it may have been too deeply affected by various romantic dramas, and I am a little uncomfortable with the relationship between the two protagonists, so I subjectively defined it as partner=couple. But the more I get to the back, the more I feel that the deep dependence and trust of the two people who are almost platonic is more touching to me. There is no "I love you", only "I trust you", and no kiss but hug. This also made it difficult for me to accept that in the end, the screenwriter just turned Mulder and Scully into a relationship in order to cater to the audience. I would rather they have each other's partners, and can maintain this kind of feeling beyond love, maybe I am a bit perverted, but I think this is the biggest feature of this drama.
In addition, what attracts me to this drama is its language, various monologues and dialogues cover a lot of professional vocabulary, ha ha. And a lot of content, about the origin of species, the evolution of the universe, religious deification, and cultural etiquette, I feel that it will only appear in the GRE reading. After reading it, it is a long experience. I really admire its creator, Chris Carter, a top student who graduated from the University of California. Rich experience. Not only a screenwriter, but David Duchovny, who plays the leading role, graduated from Princeton with a bachelor's degree and is a graduate student at Yale, my God. The heroine Gillian Anderson also graduated from Cornell. Such a highly educated crew lineup is too rare, which makes X-File far higher than other science fiction films in many aspects, including the range of knowledge covered by the plot, the incisive dialogue of the actors, and the portrayal of human nature. depth.
In any case, although it takes a lot of time to indulge in X-File, I think it's worth it. X-File can definitely be regarded as one of the most classic American dramas.
