"Super Expendables": Hearse drifting at night in Manhattan

A few days ago, "Travel to Busan", which was blasted by the circle of friends, was absolutely impossible to pass the review in our film censorship system. Looking at the Korean film industry, it is already comparable to Hollywood, and our movies still cannot show zombies and ghosts. Speaking of ghosts and gods, facing these unknown and mysterious realms, the first reaction of many people is fear. Human beings are always afraid of unknown fear. However, this movie will make you change your view of ghosts and use scientific methods to catch ghosts, which is absurd and funny.

"Super Expendables" is a genre comedy that is getting better because of the slow pace at the beginning of the movie, the procrastination of historical accounts, and the nagging and boring conversations of some women's thinking. After half an hour, you will be bombarded with a lot of laughter, and you will be moved by the girls' obsession. Women can also save the world. This is a victory for feminists.

This version of Super Expendables is a remake of "Ghostbusters" in 1984. The story tells that Irene and her friends co-authored a book about ghosts in order to tell people that ghosts exist. After the ghost was released, Irene formed a four-man team to save Manhattan. In fact, the remake of the classic itself is inherently dangerous, so this "Super Expendables" is already rich in content on top of the highly restored classic. Rich content is a very dangerous action. I have to say that some of the dialogue and behavior are very verbose, like being designed to piece together time. I heard that the director's cut version is three hours, but fortunately, the release version is two hours. Because some unnecessary bridge sections feel that these two hours are extremely long. Fortunately, Hammer's appearance is always online. Kevin, played by Thor, is a stupid receptionist. Because of his handsome figure, Irene is directly recruited under his command, and Kevin's series of nonsensical and stupid sales make the whole movie more attractive.

In Western ghost stories, the exorcist is usually the priest living the exorcist, but the protagonists in "Super Expendables" are based on scientific theories to hunt ghosts, and even when arguing, it is because Irene and Abby’s arguments are different. A pair of lovely scientists love each other and kill each other.

The story in the movie takes place in Chinatown, and there is a Chinese restaurant downstairs, and a familiar canteen feel blows across the face. The company building is in the same location as the first Chinese casino in New York. This is a mockery and not malicious.

Finally, Patty borrowed her uncle's car. Her uncle drove the funeral center, so the car she borrowed was a hearse, and a group of people really came to a hearse drift.

One more thing I have to mention is the special effects of the movie. The visual effects presented by the special effects of this movie are very good. They may not be so cute after being humanized, but the design of ghosts in various colors and shapes is very creative, and even more rare. The government's handling of this supernatural phenomenon is the same as in the "Travel to Busan". The government chose to cover up the truth, with the good name "to cover up panic." So we will be very angry when we see the secretary pretending to arrest several protagonists later. When our emotions are driven by the movie, it means that the movie is recognized. Later, when Irene went to ask the mayor to evacuate the citizens, she was deeply touched. It was obvious that a tragedy was about to happen. It was presented through this kind of comedy. This modest way of doing things to the government is really a deep impression. Ridicule.

There is also a Dr. Martin who claims to be a demonstrator of supernatural phenomena in the film. He actually mirrored many people in life, selfish souls, arrogant and self-righteous, suppressing others in order to keep his position. Such people are everywhere in life. They have bad motivations and aggressiveness in human nature. This kind of people also gave a perfect ending in the movie.

Although the whole movie is not perfect, it is very suitable for watching on weekends or to kill time on weekdays.

  • Abby Yates: [Holtzmann is dancing to 'Rhythm of the Night'] I don't mean to DeBarge in!

Jillian Holtzmann: Is that by DeBarge? I thought it was Devo.

  • Patty Tolan: That's where I saw that weird sparking thing.

    Jillian Holtzmann: What was it?

Patty Tolan: Baby, if I knew what it was, I wouldn't have called it a 'weird sparking thing'.
