Three interesting settings

The new version of Planet of Apes is directed by Tim Burton ("Guillotine", "Batman"). Compared with the old version of 1968, which is much more luxurious, some of the settings inside are somewhat interesting:
First, the so-called forbidden area "CALIMA" is actually the spaceship of the protagonist Leo (Mark Wahlberg), and the name comes again As for the slogan inside the spacecraft: CAution LIve aninMAls.

Second, when humans are about to be defeated, the savior that descends from the sky is actually the orangutan PALI that Leo is going to rescue, and it is also regarded as a god by the ape-man.

The most weird thing is the end. Leo took the spacecraft brought by PALI and flew back to his planet, Earth, using the track map inside. It happened to fall to a place very similar to the Lincoln Memorial, but unfortunately, Lincoln. The statue of was replaced by General Thade who was killed by Leo, and the inscription behind it also shows that Thade’s merit is that it contributed its own life to the development of the planet of the apes-the so-called Planet of the Apes is still the earth!

①From the hot discussion about the deviation of the time setting, the inexplicable appearance of Lincoln at the end, to the large and small slots in the plot, no explanation can be convincing, and the whole story is a huge bug. ②Painting a tiger is not an anti-dog. I want to reproduce the shocking effect and epic temperament of "Planet of the Apes", but it has lost its own characteristics. ③The male protagonist is really a waste of love with orangutans!

Can't compare to the old version. Do things in the old way, do them one by one seriously, and the things you make are pure.

  • Ari: [blocking Limbo] You kill him, and you'll only lower yourself to his level.

    Limbo: Exactly!

  • Ari: Hm, I knew it, you're sensitive. An uncommon quality in a man.
