Such a fiasco at the box office can only say that the American people lack a sense of humor.

One of the important characteristics of whether watching a film is a B-level article is whether I have a headache after watching it because of dazzling, but it does not mean that this is not a good film, and a film that can’t leave anything is a bad film. When watching Martians playing around with the earth (I like this translation), I have been laughing and thinking while admiring the scenes that are ironic of reality.
Among them are the American president who fell in love with the camera, the vain first lady, the world-weary presidential daughter, the war-crazy commander, the caring young man, his weird grandmother, the down-and-out boxer who played the king of Egypt... every role So bright, it's live, and all of them are big names! Even a character who gets a headshot within a few minutes of appearance! I believe that these actors will definitely enjoy themselves in these ironic films.
It’s just such a smorgasbord of plots. Tim Burton also has the ability to make it full of poetry. When he plays the family of the guy who sells Donuts, a few shots can clearly explain the complicated family relationship and bring it very authentic. The road film has a slightly sad dusk hue.
I think the more the audience understands American culture, or TV culture to be precise, the better they can understand the laughter of this film. It is a big production that combines sci-fi, highway, ethics, blockbuster style, funny, retro, and philosophical features.
However, this kind of plot may really not be able to fight the ideologically strong and healthy pornographic film like "Independence Day". Many people may just laugh at this kind of plot. It is difficult to evoke a sense of sublime, but I think the depth of thinking is better than those. The film of the Eight Classics is much stronger.
One's own opinion.

  • Jason Stone: [Reporting in Pahrump where the Martians are landing] The teeming masses have gathered from who knows how many states. Waiting and watching. Why have they come? Curiosity? Or is it something more? Or is it simply to say "I was there. I was there when first man met Martian." Jason Stone, GNN. Pahrump.
