Got you

After more than 30 years, Frandi can still occupy a place among the top 100 villains. Unlike traditional horror movies, the movie turns your own dream into a horror home. Unlike the scary nightmare, you will "sleep" forever when you die in the dream.

I have seen many friends say that looking back at this movie now is like watching a joke, it's not so scary anymore. Different from them, I think the first horror film of "Men Ghost Street" is a rare horror film even if it is released now.

There are many ways to make people desperate, and the most crippling is to give you hope first, and then break that hope into pieces.

The early stage of the film is a very common way of horror films, and the atmosphere shaping and music rendering are very regular. The climax of the whole play begins when Nancy hopes to pull Flandy out of her dream.

We can understand this dream as two levels of dreams. The first segment starts when Nancy pulls Frandi out, and ends when the burning Frand is "no longer afraid" by Nancy; the second level of dreams starts from Nancy. Open the door and go out to start, until Frandila walks away from Nancy's mother and turns into a car to drag Nancy and her friends away.

The real despair is to give you hope first, and then break this hope to pieces. Flandy gave Nancy a dream to overcome her, and then pulled Nancy into a deeper level of fear, and completely defeated Nancy in the dream.

In the first layer of dreams, there are many pictures that indicate that this is not true: Frandi, who was pulled out of the dream, began to be physically harmed, proving that he was an entity at this time. However, he can still appear from the basement to Nancy's mother's bedroom without knowing it, and instantly regain his superpowers, pulling her into a dream.

Here is a hint that Flandy has always maintained superpowers. His short defeat is the false hope he gave to Nancy, so that Nancy can experience real despair when entering the second level of dreams.

Frandi’s infinite rebirth and supreme abilities in his dream are the most horrible selling points of "Men Ghost Street". Such a plot allows it to still occupy a place on the horror list after more than 30 years.
