Most of the audience's misunderstanding of Leonardo DiCaprio comes from "Titanic", but in 1996 he had already won the best actor of the Berlin Film Festival with this film. Director Baz Luchman is a very insightful person, especially gorgeous in the stage design. The heroine also has a sense of maturity across ages. However, the biggest protagonist is Shakespeare. Those beautiful lines spanning such a long time are still moving and touching, and they are indeed a matter of respect.

The modernized and localized adaptation is very powerful. The empty mirror is given to the street prostitutes and the rolling yellow sand. The drag queen sings about women's thoughts, and the elegant Shakespeare lines can also be hysterical.

If Romeo followed the Chinese custom and waited until Juliet's first seven before deciding his own life and death, this story would be a happy comedy. Chinese customs are so good!
