Behind it is a work I have seen in recent years that combines sex with terror, and I quite like it.
1. The chain pursuit of people by monsters is passed on through sexual behavior. The original sin of sex itself, deception, disguise, different dreams in the same bed, and estrangement of heart have all been magnified. The dual existence of sexual purpose and blindness is linked to life, fluke and revenge make sex more false, and at the same time terribly real.
2. Monsters appear in different forms depending on the person being hunted down. This setting widens the creative space a lot. I think every time the monster chooses the form is the darkest and fearful sexual fantasy/image projection in the heart of the person being hunted. The form of the monster seen by the heroine is a naked middle-aged woman, a young woman who is urinating in disorderly clothes, and a young boy. The other male character saw his naked mother. The process by which the monster kills the person being pursued also has quite strong sexual hints. While the film depicts the process of pursuing appearances, it also metaphors the interpersonal relationship that uses sex as a bridge.
Finally, although the acting skills of the young actors in the movie are mediocre and sometimes not smooth, this surprisingly brings a sense of immaturity to the movie, which is wonderful.
