This preconception almost made me miss a good movie.
For a slow-moving movie, I don’t know what the story is about in the first hour. There are too many horror movies, and the ghosts and ghosts in front of me are not very irritating to my eyes and ears. The appearance of the church is the beginning of the movie to get rid of the boring situation. The scene of the big axe tearing off the skin of a woman's body is really chilling. Rose broke through many difficulties and finally saw that the legendary scene of the devil was a turning point in the whole film—before it was a ghost story, and then it was a mortal story, although they all serve the same theme of "revenge".
The story itself is a typical ghost story-illogical but reasonable. Thirty years ago, a little girl in Silent Hill was burned as a witch by the church. The evil force in her heart turned her grief and anger into revenge and burned the entire town. Thirty years later, with the help of a mother and daughter (and of course a hapless policewoman who was involved in the death of innocents), the little girl killed the remaining witches hiding in the church-revenge!
The most subtle part of the movie is the intricate emotional lines, and the main line is also the most quintessential is the persecution of the innocent and kind by secular prejudices. The conscientious old woman always appears righteous and confident in the church. Most of the deceived either remain silent or raise their feet to cheer for the real devil. In the end, the screenwriters can only use violence to curb violence and evil to curb evil—the original innocent mind turns into demons and angels, demons are used to punish bad guys, and angels are used for happy ever after episodes. The screenwriters of "Silent Hill" are the most sensible. They know that reality will never be perfect. Even if the wicked are punished, the angels will not necessarily live happily ever after. So Rose and her daughter returned home, but they could no longer be reunited with her husband who lived in the same room.
It’s close at hand but it feels like a world away, I can smell it but I can’t see it, it’s almost desperate, but how beautiful it can be...
Going far, it seems that I will never learn to write a film review seriously. After all, it is better to find your classmates to play the PS game of Silent Hill and experience the true pure sensory stimulation.
