The future has been arranged, but it has not happened yet

Harold Crick, a civil servant of the tax bureau, uses figures to accurately his life every day, step by step, and immutable. This state of his life makes the "God" who created him, Karen Eiffel, the tragic novelist, also helpless, not knowing how to properly arrange his death. Until one day, Harold Crick knew that his creator Karen Eiffel was arranging death for him, and realized that such a life of walking dead is also his own life, and his own life should not end in such a hurry. He didn’t want to sit still and walked into the guitar shop...

This strange movie looks grotesque but very realistic. From the stereotyped Harold Crick and Karen Eiffel, who suffers from obsessive-compulsive disorder, we will catch a glimpse of ourselves. Give a knowing smile. The film involves something I have discussed before: "The future has been arranged, but it hasn't happened yet." Is there a destiny? In front of destiny, is to accept destiny? Or do you change your destiny through your own efforts? Or write your own destiny with that "God"? Like Harold Crick?

  • Kay Eiffel: [narrating] Why was Harold talking to this man? This man was an idiot.
