Glimpse of Chicago

There is a category of movies that can be regarded as exemplary and can only be imitated but cannot be surpassed. The genre movies after them become "post ××" movies. For example: sci-fi action movies in the post-Matrix era; fantasy epics in the post-Lord of the Rings era. A category of movies has sprung up because of the success of a certain movie, but no one can once again become the king of the wind and rain. Perhaps the emergence of "Chicago" has also brought the musicals after it into the post-Chicago era. Its perfection makes the prospects of musicals gloomy, and all imitations may be just another blank.

"Chicago" makes people never get tired of it, because it's singing and dancing, drifting and relaxing, joking, and floating. Originally, there is no need to go deep into the soul too much. The fragrant charm is full of charm, and it is enough to please the nerves. "Chicago" is like that. Pearly jewels, silk satin, lively colors and fragrances, high desires, and over-modified powdery air everywhere. It is tacky and conceited, but it is very vivid, and its wild and wild eclipses everything noble and reserved. A series of smooth and unrestrained montages, the stage and reality are in a bizarre chaos, besides the plump and fat buttocks, the scent and dance, the narrative itself is sexy and charming.

Everything about "Chicago" is so addictive-if the breathless John Travolta can replace the stupid Richard Gere, it would be perfect.

PS: In comparison, "Yoshiya Rental" is very jerky~~~
