It’s been a long time since "The Witch" made me want to take screenshots and upload them to the photo album and write a review. This movie is absolutely beautiful, but I have to be patient to understand it. I especially like the last scene. Tommasin walks into the forest, naked and covered in blood with her golden hair, with a black goat next to her. The gray lens adds a sense of weirdness and mystery, no matter what dream. The appearance of this kind of scene will definitely scare people into a cold sweat... At the beginning of the film, the devout believer William was expelled from the church because he had conflicts with the church. William brought his wife, eldest daughter Thomasine, twin daughters, son Kellerb, and a baby in swaddling clothes. Live in a deserted place. When Thomasin took the baby out to play, the baby suddenly disappeared. The camera switches to a mysterious person, a black robe with loose skin. William decided to go to the forest to find his son, but was stopped by his wife. One stormy night, Celebrity came back naked, and died shortly after lying on the bed. Before he died, he had been muttering about God, the devil and the witch, Satan, and he died after speaking. He vomited blood and still had a red apple in his mouth. The twins suddenly screamed loudly, saying that Thomasin was a witch. (The baby was lost when Thomasin took it out to play. Celebrity also lost with Thomasin. All the fingers were directed at her.) Thomasin said that Satan, incarnate as a black goat, whispers to the twins day after day, corrupting their faith in God and trying to destroy their family. The father had to lock the twins, Thomasin and the black goat in the same house. The next day, the witch appeared, drank goat's milk, took away the twins, and cut all the other sheep. Father came out of the room and was stabbed in the stomach with sharp horns by the black three sheep, and died The mother decided that the daughter was a witch and wanted to strangle Tomasi. Tomasine stabbed his mother with a knife in order to survive. The black billy goat turned into a man in a black robe and instructed Thomasin to take off his clothes and followed him into the forest. Thomasin walked into the forest. In the depths of the forest, a group of naked people were dancing around the bonfire, like a ritual to pay homage to Satan. Thomasin walked over and flew to the sky with others...The end Can everything be a witch or a devil? This shakes the faith of mankind. When a person is forced to a desperate situation, can he calm down and stick to his beliefs? It is really not easy to do it!
