No matter how delicate the face is, it can't fill the lack in the heart

Before writing this review, I would like to emphasize one point: I am just an ordinary viewer who has never read or understood the manga, animation and basic storyline of Gunmeng. When I watched the entire 120-minute movie, my biggest impression was that it was bad and the story was broken. The standard facialization of each character, I did not substitute into any character and plot at all. So much so that I couldn't help opening the table in my heart after watching the movie and shouting: What a story element! Why is it so sloppy?

Let's talk about the biggest criticism first - the plot, which is mainly too loose. I understand the director's ambition very well, and hope to show Alita's character growth and huge worldview to the audience in 120 minutes. But you said that it took ten years for Marvel to bring Avengers 3 to the table. Your first movie made the whole character have no growth trajectory at all. How did you impress the audience? Picking up Alita from Ide and repairing her is too fast-paced. Before I saw the movie, I always thought that Id had raised Alita for a long time, making this father-daughter bond the perfect lubricant for the story, making the story full of tension. Actually the director did, but the plot moved too fast. After repairing it, I got used to my current life. Later, I met the male protagonist and started the first mobile ball experience. Then I knew that my father Ide was a bounty hunter at night and caused his life to be in danger. The time span was only a few days. The audience was inexplicably stunned by the rapidly unfolding plot.

Let’s talk about a few supporting roles first: For example, the heroine’s mother, at the beginning of the conversation with the male lead, said that she couldn’t let go of her daughter’s death back then. I felt that she would definitely be washed in the end, and she would definitely be washed in the name of her mother. But I didn't expect it to be such a clumsy washing method. As expected of a person from Salem, the thinking is different from ordinary people. And the friend of the male protagonist finally said to Zapan, the male protagonist is yours, so you can kill him. As a result, at the last minute, he was stabbed for the male lead. It may be that the director said that you are not white and do not conform to the core values of the United States. . . As for the rest of the bounty hunter who keeps a bunch of dogs, Zapan, and the male protagonist's robbery team, Victor, etc., they are all people who wear what kind of masks, and have no role at all. thickness.

Then the protagonist Alita's growth is almost zero, and after seeing many comments, she has completed the transformation from "who I am" to "who I want to be". But I think, I'm sorry, this is not growth, her heart has not changed at all, but her IQ gradually decreases with time. I always wanted to show Alita's innocence and honesty, but as a result, I added a bunch of stupid villains to set off, and in the end, it became more and more smeared. So when I didn't even have anyone I could care about and focus on, the protagonist and the supporting cast, I knew that the play had collapsed.

Besides the setting, there are too few depictions of the entire steel city. Just gave a lot of shots to show the future apocalyptic steampunk steel city and the mysterious sky city of Salem. Although several main characters said that the people were living in a very hard life, oh, the oppression is serious, but the story did not reflect it at all. In the end, I didn’t understand whether this was a city with basic management settings. I didn’t know if I was killed at night and the police would take care of me. I also didn’t know when I was as strong as Alita. If the husband is hacked to death, can he do whatever he wants?

As the absolute protagonist of Alita, although I knew from the beginning that she is very powerful, after all, "Valkyrie", but I didn't expect that I still underestimate her.

1. At the beginning of the game, there is an out-of-print heart that can be compared to the energy of the entire Steel City. (Born with top-level inner strength and heart method)

2. Then she was taken to a Mars spaceship belonging to her own race, and obtained a super nano body that only she could obtain (obtained a super diamond body protection technique in an ancient ruin belonging to her own family)

3. "Zapan, don't let that linger, hurry up as an NPC to give the protagonist a weapon" "Why, director, this knife is obviously mine" "Don't talk nonsense, can the things on Mars be yours, hurry up and find it The stupidest reason to get a box lunch" (and then get the Dragon Slayer Sword that "cuts everything")

When describing the story, the whole movie is like a low-level fairy tale. There is no clear definition of power. Instead, I have no feeling that the protagonist has great power, because I feel that what she does is right. If the audience doesn't have a general understanding of the villain, it can't be said to be disgusted. On the contrary, Alita is like a fortress in Overwatch, looking for hatred from memory and desperately seeking revenge. You said why you are fighting so hard, then I don't know. I guess the director thought I had read the comics.

I really felt a lot after watching the movie. I always thought that Cameron should understand that special effects serve the story, not the story serving the special effects. But it was obvious that this move was wrong, and Alita's delicate facial effects could not fill the huge gap in the story. This time, he obviously shot himself in the foot. If you rate the story, add one star to the effect of two stars. In the end, the three stars are really at the top, and I really can't give them any more.
