Daughter of the Sea x The Little Mermaid

While many people were moved by Hai's daughter giving up her 300-year life for love, I always remember her original intention.

What she wanted was an immortal soul. So when I watched it as a child, I didn't think it was a tragedy at the end, she got what she wanted. What she wants is not love, but an immortal soul.

Therefore, the prince and the princess together may be the best ending, after all, the princess really looks kind.

But Disney fulfilled Ariel's love and erased the part of her quest for an immortal soul. Thus filling people's regrets, but lost some of the flavor.

The Daughter of the Sea is one of my favorite fairy tales when I was a child, because of that seemingly different sense of tragedy. The most lovely thing about her now is her reality, a beautiful girl, giving up a warm and familiar family, a deep and free sea, health, talent... She is desperate for a love, but she may not meet the right person. To grow up, to find freedom with kindness. The movie gave up this angle, but contributed nice songs.

The movie I loved as a child is still there. . . I believe in the existence of mermaids. . . I also love this classic cartoon. . Worth to talk about. . . I always feel that the overdubbing feels much better than the original. . .
