Absurdly expresses the social concept of love in the film: there must be something in common.
For example, studying social science together, being indifferent to everything together, and having nosebleeds together.
Later, the male protagonist escaped from the hotel and came to the "single tribe". I fell in love with the heroine, and wrote in the diary: She is also short-sighted. Maybe that's why he fell in love with her. In the plot, a strange man brought a hare to the heroine. The hero went crazy and wanted to see if the person was short-sighted, for fear that the man and the heroine would have something in common.
So the male protagonist thinks that I love each other with the female protagonist because she and I are both short-sighted.
This also confirms why the heroine is afraid to tell the hero when she finds out that she is blind, for fear that he will be angry. The male protagonist started playing games with her to enhance her sense of touch. But when he asked the heroine a series of questions under the tree (should be something he was interested in), and after the heroine denied all of them, the hero realized that it's over, we have nothing in common except myopia, so we didn't love each other. After the reason, he became a lot more indifferent to the heroine, and stopped catching rabbits for her and playing games with her.
Finally, the male protagonist takes the female protagonist into the city. The first thing I did was poke my eyes out. At the time I didn't quite understand why he did this. Only later did he realize that because he was still deeply bound by the concept of this society, he believed that only if they were blind can they become each other's partners. It takes such a deep bondage and mental perversion to endure being blinded in the eyes. And the heroine did not stop him, but told him that other senses would become sensitive after being blind.
They all live under the rules of this society and have nowhere to run.
