The movie has a lot of eye-fuckings, with lots of restraint, temptation, and undercurrents in every eye-contact. I want to share two scenes that moved me the most.
The first is when driving, Amina is so good at flirting! !
“do you know how to drive”
"why would i ask for a driving lesson if I knew how to drive?"
"I don't know, maybe you wanted to see me."
My two heroines here are just right, especially Miriam. The way she speaks, the tone of voice and the look in her eyes all tell that she is deeply attracted to Amina. I really want to get closer, and when they finally hold hands, Miriam must be scared. She was delighted that she seemed to be awakened by this fresh emotion, but the reality reminded her that it was impossible. She was really scared.
The last thing in this world that needs explaining is feeling, sometimes you just clikced with someone, it was just such strong feeling that it is irresistible.
The second part that touched me was also the part that broke my heart. When Amina thought and thought, she hesitated whether to express her feelings or not, and she didn't know if it was worth being brave this time. She finally went to Miriam.
When Amina arrived at the store, Miriam understood. I think Miriam has always been aware of the chemistry between her and Amina, the emotions and the love. Miriam refused before Amina could express her feelings.
"i can't, i'm married and, you're a woman."
Miriam is really afraid, she is afraid of her own passionate feelings, afraid of the shackles of reality, fearful words. There was no way she could drop all the restraints in that instant and run towards Amina.
When Amina wanted to get close to Miriam, Miriam stepped back in fear, and then said in a crying voice
"Amina please,"
I think it's so well written and Lisa Ray handles it so well. All Miriam's forbearance, fear, and passionate love are firmly hidden in the cry with a cry. She was afraid that if Amina got closer, she would not be able to hold on, she was afraid that if Amina got closer, all her rejections would collapse, and she was afraid that she would really make an irrational decision and make a close call.
In the end, when Amina wanted Miriam to fly away with herself, when Amina wanted to get close to Miriam, Miriam kept rejecting her. God knows how hard Miriam is trying to refuse!

Amina definiltey had a huge impact on Miriam's life. It was Amina who lit the fire in Miriam's heart, the little flame that never went out. Miriam finally stopped holding back and said No like her indifferent and selfish husband. It was a silent response to Amina.
The ending of the movie is that Miriam accepts Amina's job offer. God, Lisa Ray is crying in this movie! ! Peak value. I don't know what the future holds, I think Miriam eventually divorced her husband and lived happily ever after with Amina.
lots of eye fucking, lots of emotions, and lots of love. dang, a great movie.
