In general, it is a good film. It feels softer in style and slightly less entertaining. Subjectively, it is not about conflicts and disputes between human beings, but focuses on the mystery of alien life. Although the heroine suddenly has She has superpowers, but the director did not want the heroine to use superpowers to kill the Quartet, nor did she focus on expressing the magic of superpowers. Although the emotional lines of the male and female protagonists are carried out throughout the film, they do not have the cliché style of crying and crying in love. As for why the male protagonist would rather die than leave the female protagonist, my personal understanding is that the male protagonist gave up his relationship with the female protagonist because of family changes, and since then he has been baptized by various negative emotions such as remorse because he could not let go of the original relationship. However, after the female protagonist lost her memory, she became entangled with the male protagonist's life, so the male protagonist didn't leave until he died this time. Because he lost it, he learned to cherish it.
As for the main line of the film, it is too psychedelic, and maybe everyone's understanding is different. My understanding is that my Tianchao radio telescope received a piece of information from aliens and shared it, and then American scientists responded to this signal through research and analysis, and then the alien creatures searched for the signal and found the earth. Then the heroine and 7 other people were selected for transformation. Personal understanding of the purpose of alien creatures can be said to be aggression from the perspective of humans, while understanding from the perspective of alien creatures can be said to be helpful. Because the purpose of alien creatures' transformation of human beings is to assimilate human beings into energy bodies that have no physical form like them, perhaps in their view, this is helping human evolution. But this assimilation has a high chance of failure. To put it bluntly, the heroine is a guinea pig with a successful experiment. Perhaps it is also possible that the previous seven people failed because they used different methods to experiment and try, and finally the fusion was successful when the heroine became the heroine. The super power and strong radiation of the previous heroine were only side effects during the assimilation evolution. The heroine actually felt their call long ago, but she kept running away because she couldn't give up her feelings for the hero. In the end, the heroine became immortal to save the hero. She agreed to go with them and let them save the hero. If the plot is really what I understand, then the scene at the end of the film is very scary. It can be seen that the alien creatures are gathered in the sky, indicating that the alien creatures are ready to start their assimilation and transformation in an all-round way.
Finally, I remembered Hawking's warning, don't send signals into space, otherwise no one can be sure whether it is luck or disaster.
