I have read a lot of explanations about time travel. Although most of them can justify themselves, they always feel far-fetched. They can only be explained by two monsters traveling through time and space countless times. So I don't want to analyze the timeline, because I guess the screenwriter doesn't understand it himself, just to make a mystery~
Well, here are some doubts I found (some have my answers, just for reference)
1. In the 11th minute, who put the video clip (corresponding to the 83rd minute) on the Internet, and who found it?
2. In the interview that started at the 24th minute, the machine mentioned by the search and rescue personnel in that year should be the camera. Because it was in that era, I don’t know what it was. This echoes the end of the film, and there is no problem.
3. The tongue in the wind tower at the 34th minute should be the soldier's tongue at the 73rd minute. Judging from the corpse, this soldier must have just died (at least not turned into bones); so which monster dragged him here? Why cut off his tongue and put it in the wind tower? Judging from the 75-minute bizarre skeleton, there are many monsters in the laboratory, that is to say, there are many traversers, and they should be soldiers, why do they die? Did they fail to travel through time? When did they die? Because there are many single holes in the wall, it means that the monster was shot and killed when the monster was created, so how did the monster come into being? Going through a wormhole is supposed to be a new time and space.
4. At the beginning of the 83rd minute, the two people faced the wormhole. The heroine seemed to have a dream similar to traveling through it. Jensen seemed to think that they could go where they wanted to go. Through time and space, I came to this place again. Anyway, think about it!
5. Around the 78th minute, the monsters attacked the male and female protagonists, but they didn't seem to want to kill them. In the end, they chased them to the room with the wormhole, and the two monsters could teleport. Are they the heroine? I can't see it.
6. In the 77th minute, why did the monster kill JP (the one who was injured), if the monster is the hero and heroine, why did it attack the companion? There are also monsters that killed JP, but didn't eat it, why is this? What was their purpose of killing?
7. Who caused the avalanche in the 54th minute? Russian military? monster? Who is watching in the dark? Where is the observation point?
8. Although Dennis was suppressed by the avalanche, he still doubted whether he was dead or not. After all, he did not directly explain. The other four didn't seem to have any intention of digging her out. Why is this? Is Dennis dead or not?
9. Whether the huge footprints discovered by the group when they went up the mountain were left by the monster teleportation (since the footprints are intermittent, it can be inferred that they were left by teleportation), why should such footprints be left, especially near the station , is it to remind someone?
10. Andy's description in the 42nd minute is the core of many people's discussions about traveling through time. They had traveled 14 miles and should have arrived at midnight, which seemed to arrive early. When did they cross? Is it really going back to the day of the Diatrov incident as many people say?
11. The lens is always flickering, and although each flicker may be explained by radiation, it seems to hide some other details.
12. Some people who have observed carefully found that the structure of the mountain in the camera seems to have changed, and it seems that there are monsters. This proves the transcendence theory. You can compare. I didn't look so closely.
13. The camera that appeared in the 66th minute and the pictures in it are the most bizarre. The camera actually recorded them looking at the camera! So how exactly does it film itself? This is more bizarre than that in "Kunchiyan" where everyone appears in the camera, which can also be explained by ghosts shooting, so how to explain this scene? Are different time dimensions manifested in the same space? It's really surreal and I can't understand it.
14. There are also materials that the male and female protagonists read in the laboratory. There are many details that are worth exploring.
In short, this film is really suspicious, and many details are worth scrutinizing, although I don’t think there can be a unified and reasonable explanation at all, because I guess the screenwriters don’t know what happened after the filming, and just arranged a lot of details to make the plot more interesting. It's just weird, after all, the supernatural is beyond human cognition, that's how it should be~
