"A star is born", in this song and dance movie, the hero and heroine have a romantic, moving and beautiful moment of meeting each other, and a long, struggling, and sorrowful step towards a heartbreaking parting. This is really like "Lalaland" two years ago. It started with the value of beauty, fell into the talent, and then disappeared and then...
The themes of the two movies are really similar, but the difference is the direction of the ending. "A star is born" seems even more incomprehensible and more tragic. The biggest slot of the movie is the suicide of the ending hero, which seems too dramatic, but not as real as Lalaland's "Forgetting One Another in the World".
What I can see on the surface is that the fall of the male lead and the rise of the female lead, and the mutual status change makes the male lead at a loss what to do, allowing himself to take drugs and alcohol. Afterwards, he finally succeeded in detoxification, and should be happy ending with the heroine, but because the heroine agent's agent suddenly made up the knife, he committed suicide.
In fact, this is not the case. The male protagonist has been entangled all the time. What hasn't been seen is his obsession with the old school and traditional music art. What is the female protagonist he loves? It is the dancer who surprised him many years ago in the ballroom. It is a ruthless character who dares to fist against the police. It is a chorus with a bit of stage fright and just right to participate in his concert. It just leaves the piano. Amateur singers who can't catch the rhythm of the recording are orphans who are fledgling and don't need a dance partner to anger their manager.
The male protagonist's jealousy towards the female protagonist's success is true, but that was only when he heard that she was favored by Universal Records. From the time he helped her in recording, to when he proposed to her, to the joke that he held her and opened her nose, the male protagonist had already looked away.
And what he didn't see was that she accepted the hip-hop dance that her partner started to learn, her songwriting that catered to the market, and that when he gave her advice to stick to her original intentions, she thought he was jealous of her. He said she was "ugly", probably because she was talking about her current stage performance and musical style.
On the other hand, he still stubbornly sings the familiar style with his old guitar. He is not anxious about the formal "survival of the fittest" in the entertainment industry. If the things of the person he fell are gone forever, then what else does he have? The meaning of it. No solution, really lonely. It wasn't until his death that she finally returned to a quiet concert hall for the last song she sang for him. There was no dancing partner and not much accompaniment. That was their purest singing feeling.
Although this trend of thought is also very old school, isn't it happening all the time? How can people keep up with the tide of the times?
Marriage issues, men’s colleges should be married, women’s colleges should be married, old classmates stepped into the marriage hall one by one, transformed into trendy parents, some of them were urged by the family to go on blind dates, or they asked you with a skeptical eye why you still have a long-distance love run for so many years If you don't fit for a long time, you must get married. Then "will just find someone"? Still unsolved. In fact, there are so many reasons, no, I am very good now, and so are we.
The problem of having children, the second child is released, will the situation be the same in the future? Please compete with the bear child for a meal, and please accept the voice of the bear child when watching a movie. Your child troubles to compete with the bear child for excellent degree resources . What should I do, DINK? It’s okay if you don’t have a baby. I still have no solution.
The issue of anti-globalization, whether it is the Sino-US conflict, the Brexit issue, or even the Hong Kong issue in recent years, is plainly a confrontation between openness and win-win and anti-globalization. As the Chinese people, of course, they deeply feel the tremendous changes brought about by reform and opening up, and they also fully recognize and affirm that this still represents the greatest common value of the masses. But we are in need of the ever-expanding influence of anti-globalization, which can bring us: trade protection, cultural protection, legal LGBT, low growth rate, satisfying internal groups, and so on.
In short, there may be no right or wrong questions. Every era has its historical development trend. Whether it has reached a new stage now, and whether you are willing to be the unbreakable trendy player, this is the so-called "birth of a star."
