Although I have watched it many times when I was a child, the film is not inferior to many science fiction films now.

I remember that it seemed to be divided into upper and lower parts. The upper part talked about Johnny's growth, and the lower part talked about him leading a team to capture the Zerg leader alive.
The variety of insects presented in the film feels fresh. Bloody scenes are also exciting.
The plot is compact, with many elements. Instead of talking about fighting bugs, he also joined Johnny's emotional life.
Anyway, after rewatching it, it still looks pretty good.
