At the end of his son's wish, he learned to lie. What an amazing year.

I have seen Jim Carrey's "The Truman World", "Dumb and Dumber" and "The King of Big Talk". The exaggerated performance has always made me happy, but very sad.
When I was in college, everyone always watched dramas and variety shows at lunchtime, and for a while I was watching "Swordsman". Once I asked my roommate why their comedies had to have a crying ending, and the roommates said it was because they felt that the core of comedy was tragedy.
Really hold back the spit - the core of comedy is tragedy, not the outer packaging is tragedy.
Forced sadness is a bit embarrassing, without the tension of irony, nor the calmness of confession. It's okay to be funny without meaning, but please don't put meaning in it. You have also learned to lie.
