Tough guy, beauty; it's not that the whole film relies on CG, but real swords and guns explode, light and shadow, and steam hissing; I am not an adult, nor have I been bombarded with aesthetic fatigue by countless blockbusters.
My family bought the VCD of this movie in 1999. It was dubbed in three-disc Chinese, and it was genuine (?). It shocked me when I watched it, and it was even deeper than the deep impact of the movie of the same genre I watched in the cinema. I watched it again today, 720p Blu-ray rip, the feeling is still very deep.
Bruce Willis is the protagonist in Die Hard, and the role here is obviously weakened.
