Probably all documentaries about animals have a scene where a wolf is chasing a large herd of migrating herbivores (deer or sheep) in the back to hunt. Sometimes I think, if such a large group of deer turn their heads and rush towards the wolf together, this battle can completely scare the wolf away, so that no deer will fall into the wolf's mouth. But why did they choose to run away when they were attacked by wolves?
Thinking about it carefully, there are probably two main reasons, one is animal instinct, and the other is survival experience. (Purely personal opinion, please correct me if I am wrong)
Animal instincts are well understood. When animals encounter a crisis, their first reaction must be to avoid danger and protect themselves, so they choose to escape. Then there is the experience of survival. Every time a wolf is attacked, those who are unfortunately caught by the wolf enter the wolf's stomach, and those who survive will think that the reason why they are still alive is because of fast speed. run away. Therefore, when they encounter a wolf attack in the future, in order to survive, they will still choose to escape, because the last time they escaped, they survived.
And we will have the question why they don't unite to fight the wolves. It is to add our human thinking to the animals, but their life-saving means from generation to generation is to escape. No deer has tried to turn around to fight the wolves. They No, I dare not, this may be a mindset of the deer herd.
It can also be seen from this that the world of animals is sometimes very simple, just to survive in this world, and all their behaviors, migration, escape, are just to survive.
