Although "Ghost Story" is a horror film, the horror element is secondary, and its plot is more important. It is not so much a ghost movie as it is a drama or a suspense movie.
The movie has a certain sense of suspense and a little bit of brain-burning, but the director did not deliberately shoot it so that people couldn't understand it. Instead, it was made to be more straightforward and easy to understand, so that people can understand what kind of story it is about after watching it once.
In the movie, Goodman was entrusted by Cameron to investigate three supernatural events, the parties involved were the night watchman Tony, the young Rifkind, and the middle-aged man Mike.
