After watching "Escape Plan 2", I had an idea to write a film review for this previous work. It may be stimulated by the rough plot, a little confusing logic, and Huang Xiaoming's funny appearance in the film.
"Escape the Shell" is the joint work of the most prestigious action stars in the 1980s and 1990s. The two leading actors have dedicated many classic films in film history to everyone. Reminiscence of youthful passion. This was absolutely unimaginable 10 years ago, and there is also the sadness of facing the challenges of the new generation of stars. This film can definitely be called the classic work of the two superstars.
This film did not copy the star group of "The Expendables", but took a high IQ mode in the plot. Stallone's character is a prison designer who, ironically, was put in jail in an attempt to silence him. In pursuit of revenge, Ray must find a way to escape this heavily guarded and transparent prison. And Schwarzenegger plays the prisoner of the prison, and joins forces with Lei Qiangqiang to escape from the prison together. In an interview, Stallone also said that the film not only has guns, gunpowder, and bombs flying around, but must rely on brains and wisdom to get out of the predicament. Stallone's performance is both muscular and intelligent. Schwarzenegger continued to pull the trigger with humor, and the interpretation was very brilliant. The chemical effect of the two was obvious. Of course, there are a lot of hot action scenes in the movie, and there is no lack of humor and ridicule of the old brothers.
The whole film is filled with a strong smell of gunpowder and hormones, and it is enough to satisfy these two points as an action film.
