would you do better

People rarely anticipate unexpected costs when making decisions. When faced with a kidnapped little girl, a decision will be made: to save or not to save? The climbers chose to rescue, thinking that as long as they were transferred in time and called the police in time, then the bad guys were caught and the good guys were rescued, and everyone was happy.

But not.

For the kidnappers, it is quite safe to place the hostages under the barren hills. It was originally just a matter of negotiation and ransom.

But not.

So the hunting began, and the number of dead became more and more, and the problem of cost became prominent. The film asks step by step, what if the price of saving people is death? What about mass deaths? What if the rescued is the child of the bad guy?

The rescuers never thought about death. Death was only a momentary event, and they did not consider the cost. The cost came later.

When we encounter difficulties, even life and death dilemmas, we hope that the more kind people the better, the more nosy people, the better, and hope that these people will help us at any cost. Instead, it is ourselves that are tested.

Is it worth saving a bad guy's daughter? Is it worth dying so many people to save one person? How to answer this hindsight and hindsight question determines the limit of a person's kindness and courage.
