I never thought I could be better

Because the male protagonist is my favorite character in The Hunger Games, and the female protagonist is the female protagonist in Game of Thrones, this combination is enough to attract me. It wasn't until I watched the full movie that I realized what the story itself was exploring was more appealing to me.

The male protagonist Will, who was paralyzed due to an accident, is still handsome and arrogant, just like a medieval knight. No matter how far he goes, he will not easily drop his noble head.

The empathetic and optimistic heroine Lu, despite being loved by customers, is inevitably fired. In order to allow her sister to continue her studies, she had to give up her dream and look for a job everywhere.

The two people who were originally irrelevant, just met like this.

The conflict at the beginning, slowly opened up, and finally, mutual fulfillment.

Although some people say that Will loves himself the most, so he finally chose euthanasia.

But I think Will loves himself and Lu, and this love will not end because of death, this love will accompany Lu all his life. Because before I met you, I was very ordinary and ordinary, but after meeting you, I saw a wider world.

What Will brings to Lu is an opportunity to have a life of his own; what Lu brings to Will is a frank, sincere and passionate love.

Although the reality has forced us to separate, we will be by each other's side all our lives. This kind of feeling has already surpassed love.

So, me before you, what taught me is to thank those who have appeared in my life, because before meeting you, I never thought I could be better.

  • Camilla Traynor: [to her husband] I cannot believe that you are willing to help our son end his life.

Stephen Traynor: I'd rather that than risk him trying again, alone. It wasn't a cry for help, Camilla. He meant it. You know that. Now, this way we can be with him, supporting him, loving him.

Camilla Traynor: [shouting] He's my son!

Stephen Traynor: Yes, he's my son too! It's his choice. This is what *he* wants. You know how much pain he's in.
