Great Greek mythology movie!

I watched it many years ago, and I didn't feel it at the time. I replayed it on TV today, and it felt much better than the same type of "Battle of the Gods". Many shots can be used directly as wallpapers. The character design is very stunning and close to the plot background, which is similar to Blade Runner 2049. The whole film has a sense of epic and ritual, which is very suitable for the ancient Greek mythology. The acting skills of the actors are basically in place, especially the big boss, whose voice line is very suitable for the needs of the plot. It's a pity that the plot is a little weak.

There is no doubt that Tasim Singh is the worst of the three films, and even if the visual effects are the only thing to do, it is the rest of the "Falling". In addition, the intertextual relationship between the two worlds in "Falling" makes the emotional development extremely vivid, and the film without its clever structure is mediocre like a second-rate TV series.

The fake 3D effect can't stop the film itself from being awesome. Although a mythical movie is called "Gods", it explores the fragility and strength of human beings in the confusion of God about human nature and his own divinity. I'm glad Tasim didn't lose his style before the high budget. The film's styling, art, shots and narrative rhythm are all very personal in the director's style, and the final climax is very enjoyable!

Immortals quotes

  • Stavros: Hyperion's legions are gathering at Tartarus. That's where Hellenists will fall.

    Phaedra: That future's not set.

Stavros: But likely. It'll be a slaughter.

    Phaedra: You have no faith.

    Dareios: Heathens.

Stavros: That is true, Dareios. But not always. When I was just a boy, I prayed to the Gods, for a horse. The Gods never answered me. So I stole one, instead.

    Dareios: We're surrounded by heathens.

[Falls dead with a knife in his back]

  • Phaedra: To those whom much is given, much is taken away.
